Well, lookie what we have here...
I called a few of the soccer parents yesterday to cancel our practice and had the pleasure of finding out that I won that snack bet afterall. The Dad bringing snacks to the practice last night said he would bring them to Saturday's game instead and said he stole the bagged apple idea from whoever did that the previous week.
I, of course, said THAT WAS ME!!! He went on to say he loved the idea because he too doesn't want his child eating bagged cookies and rice krispie treats after soccer.
And while I would like to say I was modest about the whole thing, that would be a lie. After I got off the phone with him I ran out to the kitchen, told Mark I won and did a happy dance that was a strong resemblance to the Elaine dance from Seinfeld.
I think I even threw in a "Buyah!" and a "Shazam!".
