A very long drive when including rush hour traffic, lots of tears at the office, 2 x-rays, warning of possible tooth extraction and at the very least braces later in life, $129 payment, 2 hours late to school and surprisingly we all still left happy.
Well not all of us I guess.
Madison had another dentist appointment today and did FANTASTIC! She loves going to the dentist and doesn't have any cavitites!! She does have severe overcrowding on the bottom though. He said depending on how her baby teeth come out and the permenant ones grow in, we may be looking at having to extract one of her baby teeth to give the others a better chance at avoiding braces. But, he still recommended we start making friends now with an orthodontist.
The only tears of the morning came from Chloe because she didn't get to 'go'. She wanted to be in sissy's place so damn bad. She did get to sit in the chair and have her teeth looked at for fun and she got a toothbrush, but that wasn't enough. She screamed when we left the room and she screamed when she only got two treasures out the box and she screamed when it was time to leave the office.
Pathetic.
And I can bet you now that she'll be one needing the most dental work and growing terrified of the office.
Whether she's crying to stay or crying to leave, she'll make sure going to the dentist becomes a spectator sport one way or the other.
I was so proud of Madison and getting her choice of dinner tonight means we all eat pizza and I have an incredibly easy evening.

Way to go, Madison! Chloe sounds like she would get along great with Sawyer. I think they were separated at birth!
