January 31, 2008

It's that time of year again. Our dining room table has been transformed into my very amateur little green house.
I'm trying my hand at flowers this year though. I'm still going to do some veggies, but only the ones that did well last year or at the very least, that I know what to change to improve them this year.
I want to get some color in our yard and fill in some of the space in the backyard. It's just too bare for my tastes.
And since I absolutely love spring, I'm going to try to cut some costs of buying the plants by having them already blooming in our house before planting time.
The ones I'm working on right now are Jaguar Marigolds, Fruit Smoothie Zinnia, Red Velvet Celosia and some yellow Calla Lillies.
I'm excited again to watch my plants grow!
