Madison had another great report card. They're starting to get more into reading and have been separated into reading groups.
Her teacher said she is doing fantastic and is in the top of the class.
I was reading some Curious George books to her over the weekend and I see a huge improvement. She's able to read some words like dog, cat and sit by sounding them out. And her class is working on sight words like 'and', 'as', 'the' and 'of'. Of course she also thinks she can read the entire book because she's memorized the passage as it relates to the picture that's with it. She gets very upset when I read it correctly and she says "that's what I said!".
