Madison's Christmas vacation is coming to an end.
It's sad in a way. No more pajama days, no more lounging around the house and no more princess days. The weekends seem to always fill up with errands, chores, various parties and overall recovering from the previous week while attempting to prepare for the next week.
And this return to our very own regularly scheduled programing is just in time for Noggin to start some 24 hour programming of its own!
Which when I first saw it I raised my eyebrows thinking 'who would be watching Noggin at 3am?' But we've used it at 8pm since the extension and I've experienced being up at 3am with a puking little girl in the past wishing there was more than infomercials on, so I say thanks Noggin!
Now, to get back to school starting tomorrow... Madison is not happy about it. She woke up this morning asking how many hours she had left at home. Chloe and I will also be returning to the gym tomorrow after a month long hiatus. My fanny has felt the effects of the holiday and my jeans aren't happy with me. Mark goes back to work tomorrow too after a 6 day break.
So, while Mark is dropping off the truck at the repair shop from my little mishap a couple weeks ago, I'll be spending the day doing laundry, washing bed sheets, cleaning out the playroom, getting school lunch/snack stuff prepared and dealing with a very sad little Madison and a soon-to-be very happy little Chloe.
