Not a very romantic day
Valentine's Day just isn't what I remember.
Chloe's still fighting her almost 3 week cold.
And Madison just started randomly throwing up this morning.
Madison is devastated. Today was the class Valentines Day party and we made the goody bags for all 18 kids in her class. She's been looking forward to this party since last week. I still had to go to her school to drop off the goody bags and a page of homework she had yesterday (I think they were testing the parents since it took us reading directions to her). She threw up for the 3rd time as I was pulling into the parking lot.
I came back to the car having to face her sad puppy dog eyes filled with tears because she was going to miss the party. She perked up a bit though when I told her we'd have a pajama Valentines Day party at the house. She's in her pajamas, watching a Pony movie and the balloons are floating around the house.
Shocking as it may be, I'm not in a party mood.
I'm afraid it's going to be a very long day.

I feel your pain. My kids are getting over ear infections and horrible coughs. It is hard to feel romantic when your have snot crusted all over your shirt! Poor Madison missing her school party - I know you made the pajama v-day party worth her while!
