Before getting schooled on it tonight, I hadn’t realized what a big deal this softball league thing was around here. And Mark’s team is really good! They got bumped up to a higher league this year and with only two games down, they’re already looking at getting bumped up again to the B Division. The final score tonight was 20-4 and while I’m proud of that, I’m more impressed that I watched most of the game this time and even had the chance to cheer a bit. Not the pom-pom-short-skirt kind of cheer, just the clapping-because-hey-I-saw-that kind.
And it had everything to do with the fact that I promised Madison a dollar for every time she let me know Daddy made a good play.
