What was originally just Chloe having a bit of a stomach ache Sunday night turned into an all out family affair with the bathrooms. By Wednesday night our house smelled like a nursery for quintuplet newborns lacking any form of diaper genie.
And I'll need to throw away our plastic Halloween candy bowls now as that was the biggest and best thing to throw up in for all of us.
Madison kept one by her bed and we kept one by our bed.
It was bad.
Madison only went to school one day this week and Mark missed Wednesday and Thursday as well as his softball game. He's supposed to go in today for firearms training, but I have bets on him collapsing after 2 hours of running around shooting things. He's calling the guy in charge beforehand to see if they're having a make up day so he can skip it.
We're all done getting sick except for Chloe. She started it and she's finishing it apparently. We're all extremely exhausted and generally having a slow time bouncing back. I broke down and bought some pull ups for Chloe after 4 nights of changing her bed sheets in the wee hours of the morning.
The one positive aspect of it all and something I am SO thankful for is that Mark and I didn't have it at the same time. I had it Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, he had it Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Today I'll be switching out toothbrushes, scrubbing toilets and continuing to air out the house.
I have such a fun day ahead of me!
But I'll take that over Wednesday's activities anytime.
