Word on the street yesterday confirmed my thoughts about the jobs I put in for. They're all getting filled with transfers and there's still people losing their jobs. There's just not enough positions to go around with the current budget cuts.
We did get a letter this week letting us know the out of zone request for Madison has been approved though. So, there's the silver lining for me.
Since there aren't any part time preschool programs around here, Chloe and I will have another year... Some days I'd say it's another year of fun and other days I'd say it's another year to get sick of each other. She's an incredibly easy child (when it's just her) and she's actually a load of fun, but this mommy is ready to move on. Ok, maybe if I say I'm ready for more that will sound better.
I still have my limits though.
I don't want the girls in before or after school care and I want the weekends and holidays off with them. I want my 'moving on' and 'ready for more' stage to still allow for as much family time as possible.
Check out this picture of Madison. She's getting more freckles and her features are starting to change a bit. So is her personality.
She's calming down a bit and isn't my little preschooler anymore.
