Yesterday we took the girls to the dentist for Madison's 6 month cleaning and Chloe's first cleaning. They were both so great! Madison went first and just looked like such a big girl sitting in that chair and she got an awesome report again of NO CAVATIES!
Chloe was fantastic as well in the chair. No tears, no hesitation, nothing. The hygienest told her how great she was doing and what a good listener she was. The dentist came in after Madison's cleaning to look at her teeth, then he came in again after Chloe was done to look at her teeth. He congratulated Mark and myself for the girls teeth looking so good and told us we're doing a great job. He also commented on how fantastic they did and that rarely do they see an almost 3 year old do so well. I am very happy neither of them have cavaties and I'm thrilled they enjoy going to the dentist so much.
After the dentist we went to the mall, ate lunch and then headed over to the girls annual well-visits with their pediatrician. They had their vision tested, Madison had her hearing tested and neither of them had any shots!! Madison finished up her shots for Kindergarten last year and Chloe, like Madison at 3, isn't due to have anymore until next year. I talked to the doctor again aboout Madison's leg hurting her so often. We had talked about it last year and since she still has so many problems with it, I wanted to bring it up again. He still thinks it's a combination of growing pains and fatigue. It usually only hurts her at night and he checked her legs again. The right one turns in some, but he said it's nothing that would be causing that muscle pain at night. We're going to give it another year and if I'm still concerned next year we can do some tests to give me some peace of mind.
After we got home, we all fell in our beds and took a much-needed nap. Well, I returned a phone call first to the hospital about an outpatient surgery I'm going to have done. I was going to schedule it soon, but since we haven't met any of our $500 deductible I'm going to wait until next year. I'd rather start the year off with it paid than pay it now and only have a few months left in the year. It's not a surgery I'm in a hurry to have, but it will make my life noticeably easier once a month. :)
We did some yardwork once we all woke up and before we knew it, it was time for dinner! This is a very busy week for us and I'll be happy once Saturday is here. This morning my sister is dropping off her girls while they pack the moving trucks. Sarah and Kiley will be staying the night here and Mark is heading to their old house to help with the packing and moving. Me, alone, with 2 five year old girls and 2 three year old girls.....pray for me!
