A few weekends ago Madison kept asking about the cruise we're going on and when we were leaving. Since it was something like 43 days away we decided to make a chain of paper links that they could use to give them an idea of how long until we leave. They loved the idea and while we don't remember to take one off everyday, Madison is pretty good about reminding me every few days.
We're now down to 21 days until we leave for the cruise Mark's parents are taking us on and the excitement is starting to build. Chloe doesn't quite get it, but Madison absolutely does.
I'm looking forward to 7 days of no laundry, no meals to prepare, no driving miss Madison and tons of fun in the sun. I'm also looking forward to seeing the ship. We absolutely love cruising and our last cruise was in 2005 when I was 6 months pregnant with Chloe. We've cruised the Voyager class, but this will be our first on the Freedom class. We're Royal Caribbean snobs and if you've never cruised with them before I HIGHLY recommend you try it if you have a chance. They have a new ship coming out next year called the Oasis of the Seas and it looks amazing! We'll try to get through the Freedom class before trying that one though because I don't know if we'd ever want to go down in ship size once we've gone up.
This is the girls first cruise and our 5th together.
Freedom here we come!
