The weekend was good.
We were lazy some, in the yard working some, going to church, having a cookout, the girls had some friends over on Friday evening and again on Monday. We had friends over too, but I almost appreciate it more that they have kids my kids get along with and they all entertain each other.
It was actually a little tough to get going this morning. My gears were slow and my head was foggy from all the relaxing. I really didn't want to do the morning school routine, but we muddled through.
I was at Madison's school volunteering all day and came home with my usual headache and back pain. Today I was sitting on the floor filing a HUGE bin of random papers that have been collected through the year. It took about 3 hours and just as many advil.
Due to the company we had over yesterday for a cookout we postponed our family game night until tonight, so I must sign off now that I hear Madison's shower is finally done.
Madison can play a mean game of checkers, but I get her back when it comes to Uno.
